Issu de la fusion d'Ernemann avec d'autres marques, le Zeiss Ikon Klapp eut une très courte carrière, de quelques mois, chez Zeiss Ikon. C'est un klapp avec un obturateur à rideaux. Le modèle était décliné en 6,5 x 9, 9 x 12 et 10 x 15 cm. La version 4,5 x 6 cm a le droit à une appellation différente, c'est le Miniatur-Klapp.
